I am sincerely grateful for the rare opportunity to be a part of the Class of 2017. I am still in awe of the experience, as it far exceeded my expectation and opened me up to amazing opportunities.
The orientation program was very insightful and helpful. It was indeed very well rounded as we were intensely groomed for the corporate world and has the opportunity to network with great personalities across various fields. Through the course of my internship I have had severally causes to fall back to what I learnt during the orientation, which has been very helpful.
Being a part of the Class of 2017 Scholars gave me the opportunity to meet with great minds across the country – amazing relationships I would forever be grateful for. As though that was not enough, through the NHEF, I was able to get an internship with Verod Capital Management, one of the leading Private Equity firms in the country, this to me is more than a dream come true.
As though all those was not enough, the NHEF through her director, Faridah Usman, has continued to provide support to us- the Scholars. This is a proof of their commitment to our career and personal development.
The NHEF has given me the guts to aim higher, dream bigger and most importantly ensure excellence in all I do. The NHEF is empowering willing students to achieve their dreams despite their backgrounds,of which I am a grateful beneficiary.
No matter how far I go in my career, the NHEF would always be a major part of my success story, the NHEF has given me a very solid foundation that I will continually be grateful for. Once again, thank you NHEF!
